Top Layer IPS 5500 Provides Zero-Day Protection against the Snapshot Viewer Vulnerability in Microsoft Access

Top Layer Security, a leading global provider of Network Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS), today confirmed that its IPS 5500 provides customers with protection for new Microsoft vulnerabilities announced yesterday, including proactive protection for the critical vulnerability in the ActiveX Control for the Snapshot Viewer for Microsoft Access (CVE-2008-2463) that could allow remote code execution.
